UGH! I missed going to the Rock House friday. I like going there. I can forget everything and just be me. Barkey is in Gatlinburg. He is the only person that really talks to me and cares what I think and feel. I am really frustrated with a lot of things. Stress, Danny is getting on my nerves, finances, church stuff, my family… UGH. I just need a break. A hotel room for one night, ALONE, would be AWESOME. I just need some quiet.

Barkey’s Financial Plan is proving to be brutal! But I can actually see the light at the end of this GROSS darkness. (That was for all the KJV fans. HOLLAH!)

I need prayer. I need a break. I need an escape….

Too pooped to really blog…
I am just plain ole exhausted. Seriously… I am wore slap out.

But I did have to come share one thing. Maw Maw took us to Sir Pizza tonight. Have you ever ate something really stringy like cheese or gum… or something. Where if you don’t chew it good and break it.. when you swallow… some of it goes down and the rest is still strung up in your mouth. It feels like you are choking and you either have to puke the bite you swallowed back up into your mouth like a cat with a hair ball or swallow a even bigger piece of food to get all the attached parts down in one swallow.

A few years ago… Doug, Jodi, Me and Danny all went to Fox’s Pizza in Murfreesboro. They have an awesome calzone but they are SUPER cheesy. Doug and I both had a moment of panic where we thought we were going to die at the hand of cheese. I was cracking up.

Anyway…. we were eating cheese sticks. Toby all of the sudden jumped up and flung his chair back and was grabbing cheese from his mouth and stinging it out to the plate with a look for utter fear on his face. I started cracking up saying he is okay. I was laughing cause I had just done the same thing without the obvious panic. I was telling him to just swallow it down. He had a string of cheese hanging out of his lips. It was HILARIOUS. He was scared to death. LOL!!! He was running around. LMBO!! When I saw the piece on his lip slide back, I knew he had swallowed and recovered from his near death experience. haha!! You wont choke or die.. it is just a weird scarey feeling. Maw Maw was snickering, so was the guy behind us. Everyone that has done it can relate. It is too funny.

He was shaking for a few but quickly recovered and went right back to woofing his food down.

Beware of the cheese sticks at Sir Pizza, calzones at Fox’s Pizza in Murfreesboro, and slimy Big League Chew. If you go to these places… please take me with you. I want to have my camera ready next time. hahahaha!!!

Yesterday we went to Becky’s wedding. It was very Becky. Here are a few pics. It was a really nice spot. We really liked it.

The reception was really nice. Now I know why people crash weddings.

After the wedding.. Crystal (Barkey’s wife), Me, Caetie, Toby, Allie, and GG went shopping. Danny, Barkey, Ben, and Silas did some work at the church. Crystal spent over $200 getting my kids clothes and shoes. There just aren’t people like them anymore. Super nice, giving people. We are blessed to have them as friends. All the kids got several outfits each and brand new tennis shoes. It was much much needed. They weren’t going to make it to Christmas time with what they had. Toby had 2 pairs of pants. GG had only a few shirts. It was mostly summer stuff. I am thankful for good friends. We are blessed.

Okay, so we are trying to slash our spending. We are in a mess and trying to save anyway we can.

So we have 2 space heaters we are using. We are trying to make it without cutting the Gas on. It is a $300 deposit and a 2 week waiting list so we said forget it. My heater downstairs is working fairly well. Upstairs is okay. But at night…. burrrrrrrrrrrrr….. the kids have been in full blown pjs. I had Ben in the kind with feet last night. That is us heard of in this family.

No one has complained… we are sleeping good in the cool, but when we wake up.. that is the problem! WOW! It is sooooooooooo cold today!! The toilet seat! LORDY! My cheeks tried to crawl up my back. haha. We need 2 more little heaters to help. I know my cats are freezing but they will live… cats have lived outside for thousands of years, they can hack it in my unheated bathroom.

So we were thinking we could do this but, I am thinking, the colder it gets the harder it is going to be. Especially if it snows! YIKES!

*chattering teeth*
*shiver*

There are things in my life that drive me insane. You know how there are simple things to fix but there is nothing you can do about it. Yeah… I have a lot of that. So involving my ever wandering, wishing, dreaming, hoping, let down mind in other things is a great break for me. The Rock House is an escape. The wonderful thing is that it isn’t a bad escape. So many people escape into drugs, alcohol, you name it…. not so for me. The Rock House is all about ministering and serving. I thoroughly enjoy it.

I was in a meeting recently with my Pastor, Ron. He was talking to me about the Hands of Praise, the sign language team I am on. He said I need to feel like God wants me on that team or else I maybe shouldn’t be on that team. I told him I enjoy signing and want to learn more and get better but I didn’t feel any special “call” from God for signing. He said, God can help me with that.

Well, I am still working on that part of signing but with The Rock House… I can tell you that I didn’t feel the call to work with teens… but God is definitely helping me. I can see it leading that way. I am slowly getting closer and closer with the kids. Sammy throwing a football at my head 3 times last night just proves that. haha. He wanted MY attention. Oddly enough, that makes me happy. I can feel something deeper pulling me into this more and more.

It is so fun to act like a complete goob and be ministering and helping people in the process. I love The Rock House, I just do.

Say a prayer for Rachel. She is very very sick. She went to the Dr today thinking she had strep. They gave her a shot. They actually told her they would rather her have strep throat! She has to go back Saturday. Please pray for her. It isn’t good!
